Don't forget, Saturday August 15, 2015... same day as the [yawn]Dream Cruise[/yawn], the MTR, in association with Triumph Detroit, is having a Bar-BQ party from 11:00am-3:00pm  at Triumph Detroit's shop located at:

50662 Van Dyke (just south of 23 Mile Rd)

    Shelby Charter Township, MI 48317

    (586) 726-7400

It is important that the club is well represented at this event.  Triumph Detroit were very gracious hosts at our last party and we can only expect a similar greeting at this next one.  Let's let them know we appreciate the hospitality by showing up in-mass.  Anyway, who wants to be sucking in mini van fumes on Woodward when we can be stuffing our faces with beef & pork byproducts and BS'ing about fast we were in our youth.

    /Mike

PS:  We're working on a group ride in the am.

As mentioned, Cliff & I were discussing a group ride heading out of Pontiac over to the party, taking a leisurely scenic route TBD.

Apparently there is a public pancake breakfast served in downtown Pontiac in or near the Phoenix center in association with the dream cruise activities.  I cannot find the specific details on the net, but I hope to have them posted here soon.  Cliff and I were talking about meeting around 8:30ish... have a little nosh and look at the cars before heading out to the party.

All of this is up in the air at the moment, so check back for further details.

    /M

The pancake breakfast is the Betty Stogdill event to support Baldwin House. 7:30am until noon, all you can eat for $5.00 (includes coffee, milk and 3 sausage links).

Yes on the morning Breakfast . We will ride to Triumph Detroit after. Address is 58 Water Street Pontiac.

For those of you that have not been there-It's not in a real building. More like a fenced off picnic area. They have let us park our bikes there to walk down to the parking area to see the cars. Ride will be through the back-roads to make it to Triumph Detroit.
