How should you get to Grand Bend?

Grand Bend is about an hour from Sarnia

Enter Canada via Port Huron, Blue Water Bridge.  (you need a passport)

Take the 402 west to Hwy 21 to Grand Bend.

You CAN enter Canada via the tunnel or bridge (Detroit) but it adds about 30 to 45 minutes to get to Sarnia and then you have 1 hour to Grand Bend.

Option B:  Take I-94 to 26 mile.  Go east to Marine City and take the Blue Water Ferry into Canada.  The ride from Sombra (across river from Marine City) to Sarnia is nice.  Very scenic if you follow Hwy 33 (St Clair Parkway) to Sarnia. Hwy 33 north to Hwy 40 west then north to the 402.
